Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Taylor pinned against the cage. Taylor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Taylor throws a hook but Rua blocks it.
Taylor looks to land a left hand but Rua moved out of range nicely.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up but Taylor swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Taylor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rua was well out of range. Poor timing from Taylor.
Rua is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rua fails with the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rua defending well as Taylor loads up on a big left hand.
Rua throws a low kick but Taylor avoids it.
Rua slips under a jab.
Taylor misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up but Taylor swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Taylor connects with the punch.
A slow jab from Taylor misses its intended target.
A cross from Taylor lands.
Rua fails to land with a series of punches.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch but Taylor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Taylor ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Taylor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rua manages to avoid it.
Taylor dodges the punch combination from Rua.
Rua tries for a takedown but Taylor sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minar Rua. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rua shoots in looking for a takedown. Taylor tries to sprawl out of it but Rua keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Taylor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rua misses with an uppercut. Taylor saw that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rua shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Taylor sprawls well. Taylor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rua gets slowly back to his feet.
Taylor misses the shot to the body.
Good shot there by Taylor.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Taylor drops Rua with a beautiful combination! Rua stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Taylor is looking for the KO!
Rua is rocked!
It looks like Minar Rua has been cut.
Rua is breathing heavily.
Taylor drops Rua with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Rua! Taylor dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tim Taylor!
