Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Hyabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Rockgroin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rockgroin has chosen "Enter Sandman," by Metallica as his entrance music. Ryu Hyabusa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockgroin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Rockgroin is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hyabusa can't fight it off and eventually Rockgroin manages to take the fight to the floor. Hyabusa looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hyabusa is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Hyabusa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rockgroin is controlling him.

Ryu Hyabusa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hyabusa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Rockgroin tries to close the distance and clinch but Hyabusa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Rockgroin fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rockgroin moves in looking to clinch but Hyabusa pushes him off.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hyabusa drops Rockgroin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rockgroin looks back up at him and smiles so Hyabusa waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

A telegraphed right hand from Hyabusa misses the target.
Rockgroin is still on wobbly legs! Can Hyabusa finish him?
Hyabusa throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Rockgroin seems to have recovered his senses.

Rockgroin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rockgroin controls Hyabusa momentarily but Hyabusa frees himself.
Hyabusa has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rockgroin is proving hard to escape from.
Rockgroin is trying to control the position but Hyabusa postures up.
Hyabusa is looking to stand up but Rockgroin won't let him.
Rockgroin wants to sweep here but Hyabusa controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Rockgroin gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hyabusa regains guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hyabusa is looking to stand up but Rockgroin isn't so interested in that idea.
Rockgroin postures up in Hyabusa's guard and throws a big left but Hyabusa blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rockgroin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hyabusa throws a shot from downtown. Rockgroin moves away and avoids it.

Hyabusa tries to bum rush Rockgroin with a series of wild strikes but Rockgroin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rockgroin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Hyabusa shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Rockgroin takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Hyabusa sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Rockgroin bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
