Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Bautin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bautin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lobotomy. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bautin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smith.
Bautin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Smith at a distance.
Bautin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like David Smith has been cut.

Smith throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Smith darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bautin is looking for a sweep. Smith is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Smith is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bautin defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Bautin just trying to survive but Smith is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Smith jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bautin walks away with a smile on his face. Smith gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bautin catches Smith with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bautin stuns Smith with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Smith is breathing heavily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bautin cracks Smith with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Smith looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bautin finish him?
Sergei Bautin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
BOOM! Bautin lands a beautiful left hook that drops Smith. Smith tries to recover but Bautin is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Smith lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
