Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valentine has chosen Ice Cream Paintjob as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Valentine instigates a clinch.
Johnson keeps control of Valentine as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Valentine is trying to break free.

Valentine pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Valentine throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Valentine off to one side.

Johnson drops Valentine with a beautiful combination! Valentine stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Johnson is looking for the KO!

It looks like John Valentine has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Johnson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Johnson lands a right hook to the body.
Valentine looks gassed!

Johnson lands a big uppercut and Valentine crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Valentine looks OK. Johnson waves Valentine back to his feet!
Valentine shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnson throws a right and a left that Valentine avoids nicely.

Johnson has closed the distance and engaged Valentine in a clinch.

Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Valentine leaves his chin hanging out and Johnson seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Valentine crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
