PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Decimus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Donovan comes into the arena with Almost Easy-Avenged Sevenfold blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decimus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Donovan as he avoids it easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Donovan takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Decimus takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Horrible takedown by Decimus or perhaps it was just good defense by Donovan which made him look bad.

Decimus has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Donovan's face.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Decimus might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Donovan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
