The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker misses with a looping left.
Maia misses with a kick to the body.

Maia forces Parker back against the ropes and clinches.
Maia fails to pull guard.
Parker tries to break the clinch but Maia is controlling the position.
Maia keeps control of Parker as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Parker tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Parker misses with a hook to the ribs.

Maia fails with an attempt to clinch.
Parker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Maia tries to clinch but Parker is having none of it.
Maia with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Parker to score with a decent uppercut.
Maia uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Parker.
Parker takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The fight stays on the outside here - Maia looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Parker thows a body shot but no joy.
Maia tries to clinch but Parker is having none of it.
Parker just misses with a punch to the body.

Parker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Parker throws a body punch but Maia moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Parker. Maia does a little dance to reset his feet.
Parker lands with a big right hook that stumbles Maia - he's out on his feet here! Parker follows up with another monster hook that separates Maia from consciousness! Maia falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Parker stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
