Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel Price struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Miller thuds his right hand into Price's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Price takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Miller fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Price misses with a wild body shot.
Price swings for the body but Miller moves out of range.
Miller jabs Price right on the nose. Price blinks but takes it well.
Price fails with the takedown.
Miller stalks Price and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Price's face. Price staggers backwards, shaken.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Miller scores with a leg kick.
Miller scores with the left hand. Price knows he should have avoided that one.
Price wants to clinch up but Miller keeps it at a distance.
Price looks gassed!
Good leg kick by Miller there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Miller moves into range and clinches up with Price.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Miller wants to stand up but Price is controlling the position.
Price is not content to let Miller control the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Price pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Miller throws a nice outside leg kick.
Miller lands with an uppercut that bounces Price off the ropes and back into rage.
Miller lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Miller throws a head kick that misses.
Chris Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Miller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Miller trying to control the action but Price is working from the bottom.

Miller stands up and beckons Price to join him on the feet.
Miller fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Price pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Miller is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Price's half guard.
Miller seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Price avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Miller.
Miller trying to control the action but Price is working from the bottom.
Price is looking to improve his position.

Miller working over Price with some ground and pound. Price looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Miller is keen to just control but Price is a slippery customer.

Miller stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Miller looks to land a combination but Price avoids it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miller catches Price with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Price on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Miller, right into the meat.
Miller cracks Price with an open hand slap.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Price has his takedown stuffed
and Miller counters with a low kick, right behind Price 's knee.
Price moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Miller jabs Price right on the nose. Price blinks but takes it well.
Price fails with the takedown
and Miller counters with a straight right hand.
Miller lands a nice shot that snaps Price's head back.
Miller connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Miller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Miller sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Price is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Miller decides to stand back up.
Miller dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Price. That did some damage!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Miller lands with a kick to the temple. Price shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Miller connects with a right hand. Price shakes it off.
Miller moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Miller connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Miller getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Miller scores with a punch to the head.
Miller throws a quick inside leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Miller, right into the meat.
Miller lands a two punch combo.
Miller lands a jab to the nose.

Price is rocked!

Miller drops Price with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Price! Miller dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
