Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Rudd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and EF Hutton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rudd comes into the arena with Bob Marley - Get Up Stand Up blaring out of the sound system. EF Hutton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Rudd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, EF Hutton!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rudd ducks under a wild hook from Hutton.
Rudd shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hutton sprawls well. Hutton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rudd gets slowly back to his feet.

Hutton pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Rudd shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hutton is trying to defend but Rudd finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Rudd is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hutton has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Rudd has control of Hutton's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hutton regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rudd, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
