Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Troy Derren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and UBC Tan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Derren comes to the cage accompanied by Click Click Boom. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Derren is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Tan.
Tan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Derren will feel that in the morning.
Jab, jab by Tan - just one landing.
Tan lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
UBC Tan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tan lands with a nice combination. Derren backs away looking to recover.
Tan looks to land a right hand but Derren moved out of range.
Derren wants to clinch up but Tan keeps it at a distance.
Tan dodges the punch combination from Derren.
Tan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Derren circles away quickly and effectively.
Tan swats away the attempt to clinch by Derren.
Tan lands a head kick. Derren smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

A right-left combo lands from Tan.
Tan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Derren backs up against the cage.
Derren is rocked!
Tan drops Derren with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Derren! Tan dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
