Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Aspenstrand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jas Fro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aspenstrand comes to the cage accompanied by Inflames - Take This Life. Jas Fro is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aspenstrand misses with a wild combination.
Aspenstrand throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sven Aspenstrand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aspenstrand is looking to clinch.
Aspenstrand tries to clinch up but Fro circles away and keeps his distance.
Fro blocks a head kick by Aspenstrand.
Aspenstrand connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fro's hands.

Fro gets caught flat footed, as Aspenstrand shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Aspenstrand manages to get himself to full guard.
Aspenstrand has Fro pulled in close to control his posture.
Fro tries to free his leg and advance position but Aspenstrand is retaining full guard.

Fro is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Aspenstrand is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Aspenstrand has escaped and now he's on top!

Aspenstrand wants to control from the top but Fro keeps moving.

Fro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aspenstrand can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Aspenstrand won't allow Fro to get back to his feet.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Fro is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Aspenstrand is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Fro tries to reverse the position but Aspenstrand maintains control.

Aspenstrand's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Aspenstrand is working for a guillotine from mount but Fro frees his head quite easily.

Fro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Aspenstrand doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Aspenstrand manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fro has momentary wrist control but Aspenstrand slips an elbow through the middle.
Fro lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Aspenstrand!
Aspenstrand is squirming around, avoiding Fro's attempts to control the action.
Fro prevents Aspenstrand from getting the reversal.

Fro is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Fro extends the arm and Aspenstrand is forced to tap!
