The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pablo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Pablo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Flash gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Flash is looking to stand back up but Pablo counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Flash.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Flash tries to kick Pablo off but Pablo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Pablo stops Flash from getting back to his feet.

Pablo is working for a kimura but Flash is defending it quite comfortably.
Flash wants to get back to his feet.

Pablo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Pablo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Pablo wants to take a breather but Flash is having none of it.
Flash wants to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pablo sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Flash clinches but Pablo breaks the clinch

and Pablo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Pablo drops an elbow to the side of Flash's head.
Pablo prevents Flash from standing back up.
Pablo performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Flash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pablo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
