Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pannoi Boon Ta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Ole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pannoi Boon Ta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paul Ole!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boon Ta throws a sloppy head kick and Ole moves out of range easily.
Boon Ta tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ole shoots in but Boon Ta avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Boon Ta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A head kick from Boon Ta lands but Ole takes it in his stride.


It looks like Paul Ole has been cut.
Ole shoots for a takedown but Boon Ta saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Boon Ta sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Ole to the ground! Boon Ta dives into full mount looking to finish!


Ole is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ole regains half guard.
Ole is still in real trouble! Can Boon Ta finish him?
Ole is trying to maintain the position but Boon Ta is very close to passing his half guard.

Boon Ta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ole gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ole is looking to control Boon Ta's arms but Boon Ta gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ole has his back to the cage.
Boon Ta wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Boon Ta breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pannoi Boon Ta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ole avoids the head kick by Boon Ta.

Pannoi Boon Ta is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ole clinches.

Ole is trying to trip Boon Ta. He has hold of a leg but Boon Ta is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ole persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Ole slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Boon Ta keeping moving, preventing Ole from controlling successfully.
Ole stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boon Ta swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Ole tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boon Ta swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Ole closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Boon Ta to the mat! Boon Ta manages to get full guard.

Paul Ole showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Boon Ta misses with a head kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Boon Ta wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Boon Ta gets underhooks to prevent Ole's takedown attempt.

Ole has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Boon Ta uses from the top position.
Ole is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Boon Ta is trying to stand.
Ole is keen to just control but Boon Ta is a slippery customer.

Ole takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Ole is just content to waste time from the top position. Boon Ta takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Ole throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boon Ta is trying to stand.
Ole misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Boon Ta is squirming around, avoiding Ole's attempts to control the action.
Boon Ta tries to buck Ole off but he can't manage it.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pannoi Boon Ta.
I think Boon Ta has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
