The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loeffler shoots for a double leg takedown but Komarov sprawls well. He's pushed Loeffler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Komarov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Komarov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Loeffler shoots in but no luck this time.
Loeffler fails with a takedown attempt.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Komarov! Loeffler is out on his feet! Komarov rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Loeffler is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Loeffler is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
