Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vince Leonard Heidrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter La Fleur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
La Fleur rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Heidrich moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
La Fleur lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Heidrich circles away quickly and effectively.
Heidrich slips a jab and a cross from La Fleur.
La Fleur pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Heidrich takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Heidrich feints and as La Fleur raises his hands in defense, Heidrich changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

La Fleur throws a right and a left that both miss.

Peter La Fleur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Heidrich has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Heidrich closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Heidrich lands in his opponent's guard.

La Fleur is trying to control Heidrich's posture but Heidrich avoids it.

Heidrich tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Heidrich has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

La Fleur dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Heidrich. That did some damage!
Heidrich drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Heidrich is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

La Fleur lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Heidrich can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from La Fleur and Heidrich drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by La Fleur.
