Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between LA twotwo star (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamed Khalidovv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khalidovv has chosen Shamhan Daldaev - Eto Kavkaz as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

LA twotwo star seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

star chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Khalidovv can pounce on him.

star is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Khalidovv knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Khalidovv really doesn't want to stay on the ground with star. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

star has hold of Khalidovv's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Khalidovv manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Khalidovv somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!

star looks for a takedown but Khalidovv sprawls well.

Khalidovv throws a right hand that star ducks under and follows up with a left that star also avoids with ease.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

star shoots in looking for a takedown. Khalidovv tries to sprawl out of it but star keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Khalidovv manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
star bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
star prevents Khalidovv from escaping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
star has hold of Khalidovv's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Khalidovv seems comfortable defending it but star has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Khalidovv is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Khalidovv is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but star couldn't care less - he's delighted!
