Hinds comes into the arena with Oblivion blaring out of the sound system. MacLean has chosen Another One Bites The Dust as his entrance music. Brent Hinds has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MacLean really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hinds. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

MacLean looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hinds is one step ahead there.

MacLean wants to stand and escape but Hinds is having none of it.

MacLean is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hinds does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

MacLean cracks Hinds with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. MacLean has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hinds to stand back up!
This has been an exciting period of action!
MacLean looks to land a combination but Hinds avoids it well.
MacLean connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Hinds tumbling to the canvas! MacLean pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Hinds was done - good stoppage!
