PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luce Bree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Dahmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luce Bree had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bree fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bree looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Nice sprawl there from Bree as Dahmer shoots in.
Dahmer shoots in but Bree avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jeffrey Dahmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Luce Bree has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeffrey Dahmer.

Dahmer tries to close the distance and clinch but Bree swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bree throws a right and a left that both miss.

and Dahmer counters with a shoot takedown. Bree fights it but they end up in guard.
Dahmer works over Bree with some ground and pound from guard.
Bree wants to sweep here but Dahmer controlling him for the moment.
Dahmer advances position into side control!
Bree knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dahmer on the ground.

Dahmer is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Bree is trying to escape and Dahmer transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Bree is forced to tap! Nice work there by Dahmer! Very nice indeed!
