The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from garcia is defended easily by Freire.
Horrible takedown by Freire or perhaps it was just good defense by garcia which made him look bad.

Freire closes the distance and clinches up with garcia, looking for a takedown. Freire pushes garcia against the cage but garcia circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
