The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krukiov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Krukiov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stallone manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Krukiov has Stallone in his guard.

Krukiov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stallone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stallone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Stallone avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Stallone decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Krukiov, up you get!
Stallone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sly Stallone will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Stallone lands a left and a right that send Krukiov crashing to the mat, dazed. Stallone thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Krukiov shoots for a double leg takedown but Stallone sprawls well. He's pushed Krukiov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sly Stallone is winning the standup battle so far.
Stallone throws a series of punches but Krukiov moves out of range.
Stallone clobbers Krukiov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Krukiov is rocked!
Krukiov switches off momentarily and Stallone cracks him with a monster right hand! Krukiov topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Stallone dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Stallone!
