Gomes throws a series of punches but Crowly avoids them all with ease.
Jeff Gomes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gomes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gomes throws a right and a left that both miss.
Crowly cracks a nice hook into Gomes's ribs.
Gomes fails to land with a series of punches.
Crowly throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gomes.
Gomes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Crowly counters with a straight right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gomes falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gomes is countered with a crisp right hand from Crowly that sends him to the canvas! Crowly follows him to the mat into side control.

Crowly has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Gomes is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Crowly yanks on the arm and Gomes is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Crowly.
