The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Acton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Steggman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Acton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Acton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Steggman, pushing him back against the cage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Acton connects with a nasty looking knee right to Steggman's face.
Acton wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Acton changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Steggman fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Acton is in trouble now - Steggman has advanced to mount!
Christian Steggman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Steggman has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Steggman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
