Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Long Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Dio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dong comes to the ring accompanied by Thompson Twins - If You Were Here. Dio has chosen Man of the Silver Mountain as his entrance music. Long Dong has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dio tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dong swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dong shoots in looking for a takedown. Dio tries to sprawl out of it but Dong keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Dio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dong dives in and grabs Dio's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dio pushes down on Dong's head and hops out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dong jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dio walks away with a smile on his face. Dong gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Dong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Dong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dio swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dio is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dong drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dio manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dong has Dio in his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Dong drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dong jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Dong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dio swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Dio throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Dong jumps guard but Dio stands there with Dong around his waist. Dong gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Dio throws an elbow but misses.
Dio using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dong has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Dong is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dio pulls him back up using the underhooks.
