Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Maccino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diesel stuffs the takedown.
Maccino looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Diesel tries for a takedown but Maccino circles away easily

and Maccino holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Diesel jumps guard but Maccino stands there with Diesel around his waist. Diesel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Diesel unloads a knee to the mid-section. Maccino lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Diesel drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keith Diesel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Diesel lands a shoulder strike.
Diesel lands a nice knee to the body.
Diesel lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Raul Maccino has been cut.
Diesel lands a left hand that snaps the head of Maccino backwards.
Diesel can't get the takedown.
Maccino misses with a body punch.
Maccino should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Diesel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Maccino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diesel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Diesel thows a huge punch but Maccino dodges it nicely.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Diesel gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Maccino stuffs the takedown attempt from Diesel. Diesel gets slowly back to his feet.

Diesel has taken the fight to the clinch.

Diesel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Diesel fails with a takedown attempt.
Diesel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
No luck for Diesel with that takedown attempt.
Diesel is looking to clinch but Maccino is avoiding it.
Diesel lands a head kick. Maccino smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Diesel slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Diesel feints and as Maccino raises his hands in defense, Diesel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Maccino keeping moving, preventing Diesel from controlling successfully.
Diesel is pushing down on Maccino's leg trying to pass to half guard. Maccino is fighting to maintain full guard but Diesel has managed to sneak the leg through.
Maccino is refusing to be controlled, as Diesel sits in half guard.

Diesel stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Diesel tries to clinch but Maccino is having none of it.
Diesel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maccino tries to avoid it but Diesel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maccino to the ground. Maccino escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Diesel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Maccino is fending him off so far but Diesel persists. Nope, Maccino circles away and we're back to standing.
Diesel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Maccino swivels and escapes.
Diesel goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Maccino is rocked!

Diesel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Maccino is still in real trouble! Can Diesel finish him?

Diesel is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Diesel extends the arm and Maccino is forced to tap!
