And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacoby Jones!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montana misses with the combination.
Jones throws the left hand but Montana avoids the punch easily.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A left and a right from Jones both land. Nice combination.
Montana dodges the punch combination from Jones.

Montana closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Montana lands in his opponent's guard.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but Montana is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Montana slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Montana stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Jones comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jones loads up on a big right hand but Montana slips the punch.
Montana displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Montana.

Montana looking to control but Jones is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Montana is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Montana is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Jones throws a one two combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Jones has cracked Montana with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Jones lands another huge swinging hook and Montana tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Montana, before Jones can land any more shots!
