The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pauling.
Banks lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Daniel Pauling has been cut.
Banks scores with a nice strike.

Pauling shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Banks sprawls well. Banks wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pauling gets slowly back to his feet.

Pauling is breathing heavily.
Pauling is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Banks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pauling.
Pauling takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Banks throws a head kick that Pauling semi-blocks.
Banks ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pauling needs to keep his hands up - Banks had a free shot at his head there.

Banks clinches up with Pauling and pushes him back against the cage.

Banks feints and then cracks Pauling's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pauling down.

Banks fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pauling looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Banks uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Banks works over Pauling's head and body with a nice combination.
Banks lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Banks connects with a right hand. Pauling shakes it off.
Banks is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Pauling had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Banks stuns Pauling with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Banks walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Pauling drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Banks swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Pauling's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
