The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wellington swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wellington changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kang tries to avoid it but Wellington manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kang to the ground. Kang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kang swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wellington looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kang with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Wellington lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Wellington seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Kang is trying to stand up here but Wellington is controlling him well.
Kang on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kang tries to get out of the position.

Wellington is trying for a kimura here. Kang looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Wellington wins by kimura!
