The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Loughlin, as that shot connected.
Horrible takedown by Alejandro Mac or perhaps it was just good defense by Loughlin which made him look bad.
Alejandro Mac tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Alejandro Mac shoots in for a double leg but Loughlin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Alejandro Mac fails to land the takedown.
Sander Loughlin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gene Alejandro Mac.
Alejandro Mac dives in and grabs Loughlin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Loughlin pushes down on Alejandro Mac's head and hops out.
Loughlin leaves Alejandro Mac with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Alejandro Mac will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Alejandro Mac shoots in looking for a takedown. Loughlin tries to sprawl out of it but Alejandro Mac keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Loughlin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Alejandro Mac takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Loughlin throws a half hearted mid kick.

Loughlin lands a big head kick that sends Alejandro Mac tumbling to the mat! Loughlin takes a step backwards and waves Alejandro Mac back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Gene Alejandro Mac has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Loughlin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Alejandro Mac. That did some damage!

Loughlin fakes the body blow, causing Alejandro Mac to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Alejandro Mac goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
