Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyuzo Mifune!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santana throws a right and a left that both miss.
Igor Santana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A left and a right from Santana both land. Nice combination.
Santana throws out a loose jab but Mifune uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mifune closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Santana to the mat! Santana manages to get full guard.

Mifune shoots in for a takedown but Santana shows good takedown defense.

Santana tries to bum rush Mifune with a series of wild strikes but Mifune uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Santana fails to land with a series of punches.
Mifune will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Igor Santana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyuzo Mifune.
Mifune closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Santana did well to prevent Mifune getting side control.

Mifune is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Santana is trying to escape and Mifune transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Santana is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mifune! Very nice indeed!
