Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Shin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michael Shin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Shin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Dux!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shin avoids it really well and circles away.

and Shin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Shin.
Shin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

and Shin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Frank Dux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dux but Dux pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dux throws a hook to the side of Shin's head but Shin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Shin is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Shin throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Dux works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

and Shin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dux!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dux keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Shin cracks Dux with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Well Shin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
