Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Hawla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawla has chosen Ten Thousand Fists as his entrance music. The key to victory for Wanderlei Silva has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johnny Hawla!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva lands a left and a right that send Hawla crashing to the mat, dazed. Silva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Hawla is rocked!

It looks like Johnny Hawla has been cut.
Silva tries to bum rush Hawla with a series of wild strikes but Hawla uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hawla is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
Hawla seems to have recovered his senses.
Wanderlei Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hawla.
Silva takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Hawla looks up at the clock and then as Silva takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hawla smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Hawla thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Hawla decides to stand back up.
Silva scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Silva misses with a wild combination.
Silva misses with a double jab.
A head kick misses from Silva.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Hawla moves out of range easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hawla closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hawla is working to tighten is grip on Silva's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Silva has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hawla is really squeezing tight and eventually Silva passes out! Hawla breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
