Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patrick McGowen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Kiedis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kiedis has chosen Give It Away as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick McGowen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Kiedis!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kiedis has McGowen up against the cage in a clinch.
Kiedis is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Kiedis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kiedis jabs McGowen right on the nose. McGowen blinks but takes it well.
Kiedis lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kiedis.
McGowen works over Kiedis's head and body with a nice combination.
McGowen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McGowen.
McGowen takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kiedis lands with a nice body kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McGowen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
An inside leg kick lands from Kiedis.
Kiedis slips a jab and a cross from McGowen.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McGowen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kiedis - the referee stops the clock and McGowen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kiedis. McGowen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
McGowen is breathing heavily.
Kiedis scoring well with a low kick there.

A slapping leg kick lands for Kiedis.
Kiedis circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! McGowen drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kiedis follows McGowen to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
