Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paii Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JL Salac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Salac feints and as Hanzo raises his hands in defense, Salac changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Salac gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Salac closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hanzo did well to prevent Salac getting side control.

Salac postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Hanzo to stand up.

Salac tries for a kimura but Hanzo is defending well.
Hanzo is looking for a sweep.
The ground and pound from Salac seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Salac is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hanzo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Salac accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hanzo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hanzo doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Salac drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hanzo dives on top into guard.

Salac kicks Hanzo off and gets to his feet.
