Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Shears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Textmark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shears comes into the arena with Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shears throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Textmark was covering up waiting for the punch and Shears finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Textmark working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shears doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shears manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters circle momentarily. Shears darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
