Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Ungowa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ungowa comes to the cage accompanied by Type O Negative - Black No. 1. The crowd seem to be enjoying Karelin's choice of entrance music: Krynitza - Motherland. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ungowa avoids the body shot from Karelin.
Karelin throws a body punch but Ungowa moves out of range.
Ungowa looks to score with a jab to the body but Karelin is just out of range.
Karelin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A big left from Ungowa misses.
Ungowa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nice jab there from Karelin.

Karelin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Ungowa throws Karelin to one side and escapes!
Ungowa moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Alex Karelin has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Karelin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ungowa. Ungowa circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Karelin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ungowa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Ungowa keeping moving, preventing Karelin from controlling successfully.
Karelin looking to sit in guard and control but Ungowa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Ungowa trying to stand up but can't free himself from Karelin's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karelin trying to keep a closed guard but Ungowa is proving a slippery customer.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ungowa passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Ungowa prevents Karelin from improving his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ungowa throws a push kick but Karelin slaps the foot to one side.
Karelin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ungowa.
Ungowa misses with a wild body shot.
Ungowa looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Karelin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Karelin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ungowa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ungowa scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Ungowa ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Karelin looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ungowa tries to land a front kick but Karelin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ungowa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ungowa lands a really nice looking cross but Karelin seems unphased.
Ungowa misses with a kick to the body.
Ungowa cracks Karelin on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Karelin falls backwards against the cage. Ungowa follows up with more strikes that drop Karelin to his knees. Ungowa keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Karelin! This one is all over!
