Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Morris Borris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nolan Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borris comes to the cage accompanied by Trafalgar - Damned Cross. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidt misses with a two punch combination.
Schmidt misses with a few strikes there.

Borris gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Schmidt to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Borris has a closed guard, preventing Schmidt from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Borris pushes Schmidt off and gets back to his feet.

Borris gets the takedown into side control.

Borris throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Borris is working Schmidt over with some ground and pound from side control.

Schmidt pushes Borris away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Borris gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Borris has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Schmidt takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Borris working the ground and pound but Schmidt is defending the strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schmidt is trying to get back to his feet.

Borris tries to score with some ground and pound. Schmidt controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Schmidt looks gassed!
Borris postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Borris creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Schmidt sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Borris tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Schmidt is trying to escape the position but Borris is controlling the position.
Borris wants to control but Schmidt is keeping him busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Borris counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Schmidt!
A nice elbow there by Borris.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Borris lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Borris has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Schmidt's face.

Borris lands a big shot there that rocks Schmidt but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Schmidt's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Schmidt tries to buck Borris off but he can't manage it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Borris looking to control and managing it successfully.
Borris lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Borris putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Schmidt wants to try and get back to his feet.

Borris working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Schmidt turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Borris off and cradles Schmidt's limp body as Borris celebrates with his corner.
