Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Ellison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Terry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rob Terry will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anthony Ellison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rob Terry!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terry wants to clinch up but Ellison keeps it at a distance.
Terry connects with a single shot there.


It looks like Anthony Ellison has been cut.
Terry fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ellison avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ellison looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Ellison looking to sit in guard and control but Terry gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Terry drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ellison gets the underhooks and prevents it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A combination from Terry does no damage.
Terry takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Anthony Ellison is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ellison throws a nice looking combination but Terry bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ellison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
You can see the frustration on Terry's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
