Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johny Jones!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jones lands a head kick!

Jones scores with a takedown into Hardy's guard.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hardy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones is looking to advance position but Hardy has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Jones tries to hold on but Hardy pushes him away.
Jones keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Hardy unloads with some shots from mount but Jones bucks and avoids them well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones is in all sorts of trouble here.

Hardy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jones is looking to escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jones tries to hold on but Hardy pushes him away.

Jones is looking to improve his position but Hardy isn't that keen on the idea.
Jones wants to control but Hardy is having none of it.
Jones sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Hardy passes to full mount!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jones is in all sorts of trouble here.

Jones is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hardy avoids the attempt from Jones to control.
Hardy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jones is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Johny Jones will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Jones shoots in and bounces Hardy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Jones drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hardy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jones has Hardy in his guard.
Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Hardy is proving a slippery customer.
Hardy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hardy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hardy throwing strikes but missing.
Hardy wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Dracula Hardy just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hardy throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Hardy wants to get back to striking at distance but Jones won't allow it.

Jones wants a takedown but no success here.
Jones keeps control of Hardy as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Jones lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Jones goes for a takedown attempt but Hardy pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dracula Hardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johny Jones.
Hardy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Hardy shoots in, scooping Jones off his feet. Hardy is holding his opponent over his shoulder. He slams Jones to the mat and Jones is in big trouble! Hardy is landing strikes to his unconscious foe and the ref dives in to end the fight! Hardy is celebrating with his corner and rightfully so.
