The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
nottingham defending well as Hammer loads up on a big left hand.

nottingham feints and as Hammer raises his hands in defense, nottingham changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
nottingham throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Hammer!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Hammer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
nottingham tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hammer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten nottingham somewhat.
Hammer throws a big shot that misses.
Hammer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hammer lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like roger nottingham has been cut.
nottingham is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hammer.

Hammer throws out a loose jab but nottingham uses good head movement to avoid it.

nottingham shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hammer sprawls well. Hammer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. nottingham gets slowly back to his feet.

Mario Hammer showed his dominance in that final round.
