The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
omka misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Almeida shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and omka decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Almeida's guard.
omka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Almeida swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Almeida not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

omka thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Almeida doesn't succeed with the takedown

Almeida is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

omka looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Almeida has picked omka up and slammed him! omka can't keep hold of the triangle and Almeida manages to pass to side control!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tiago Almeida.
