Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Henson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and loui abby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cutman by Unearth. Mickey Henson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
abby thuds his right hand into Henson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
abby wants to land a leg kick but Henson is out of range.
A head kick misses from abby.
abby throws a right and a left that Henson avoids nicely.
abby pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No luck for abby with that takedown attempt.

Henson drives through with a takedown into guard.
Henson tries to free his leg and advance position but abby is retaining full guard.

Henson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
abby utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Henson cracks abby with a solid left hand.
Henson prevents abby from getting back to his feet.
Henson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Henson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Henson stands and throws abby's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Henson in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Henson is working to tighten is grip on abby's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. abby has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Henson is really squeezing tight and eventually abby passes out! Henson breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
