The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aldo is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, MacLeod cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The referee warns Aldo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
MacLeod controlling the pace for now.
Aldo is squirming around, avoiding MacLeod's attempts to control the action.
Aldo tries to reverse the position but MacLeod maintains control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark MacLeod showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


MacLeod misses with a few strikes there.

MacLeod throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

MacLeod connects with a nice looking jab.
MacLeod fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

MacLeod shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than MacLeod was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Aldo tries to hold on but MacLeod postures up.

MacLeod is landing with some decent strikes but Aldo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

MacLeod might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Aldo kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Aldo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

MacLeod has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Mark MacLeod is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
MacLeod takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Well MacLeod has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
