Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luka Subotic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Loyola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loyola has chosen England Belongs to Me as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Subotic slips under a jab from Loyola.
Loyola scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Subotic throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Subotic tries to clinch but Loyola is having none of it.
Subotic fails with the takedown.
Subotic stuffs the takedown attempt from Loyola. Loyola gets slowly back to his feet.
Loyola fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Subotic sprawls well initially but Loyola persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Loyola is looking to stall here but Subotic recovers full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Subotic isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Loyola stacks Subotic on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Loyola!

Loyola sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Subotic's guard.
Loyola winds up and cracks Subotic with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Loyola working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Loyola wants to stand up but Subotic has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Loyola is keen to just control but Subotic is a slippery customer.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Subotic tries to clinch there but Loyola circles away.

and Loyola holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Loyola jumps guard but Subotic stands there with Loyola around his waist. Loyola gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Loyola changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Subotic fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Loyola wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Subotic, who protects the arm well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Subotic swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Loyola is now in Subotic's guard. A big mistake from Subotic there, giving up the dominant position!
Subotic is looking for a triangle but Loyola pushes his legs off easily.

Paulo Loyola showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Subotic tries to close the distance and clinch but Loyola swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Loyola counters with a three punch combo that has Subotic backing up. Subotic nods at Loyola to acknowledge the strikes.

Subotic is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Loyola is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Loyola is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Subotic.
Subotic cracks Loyola with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Loyola from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Subotic doesn't have the hooks in and Loyola manages to turn into his guard.

Subotic has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Paulo Loyola comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Loyola has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
