Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Morse Hores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Boxer Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Morse Hores!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Boxer Jr!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer Jr avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hores lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Boxer Jr avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hores lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boxer Jr circles away quickly and effectively.
Hores fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Boxer Jr checks it well.
Hores moves away from the strike by Boxer Jr.
Boxer Jr listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Hores misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boxer Jr.
Hores slips a jab and a cross from Boxer Jr.

Hores thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Boxer Jr's head.

It looks like Morse Hores has been cut.
Boxer Jr circles away from the clinch attempt.
Boxer Jr shoots for a takedown but Hores saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Morse Hores has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Boxer Jr.

A looping hook to the body misses from Boxer Jr. Hores does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hores tries to clinch but Boxer Jr moves out of range.

and Hores counters with a three punch combo that has Boxer Jr backing up. Boxer Jr nods at Hores to acknowledge the strikes.

Boxer Jr seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Boxer Jr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hores is looking for a sweep. Boxer Jr is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Boxer Jr can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hores is looking to escape.
Boxer Jr connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Boxer Jr wants to control the pace but Hores is squirming around nicely.
Hores tries to hold on but Boxer Jr postures up.

Joe Boxer Jr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Boxer Jr throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hores sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Hores closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Boxer Jr to the mat! Boxer Jr manages to get full guard.

Hores got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boxer Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hores has managed to get both his arms back between Boxer Jr's legs - danger averted.

Boxer Jr isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hores stacks Boxer Jr on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hores!

Hores connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Boxer Jr some visible discomfort.
Boxer Jr tries to buck Hores off but Hores is having none of it.
Hores gets to mount! Boxer Jr was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Hores has control of Boxer Jr's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Boxer Jr regains control of the situation pretty easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boxer Jr can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Boxer Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hores can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hores lands a couple of elbows.
Hores trying to control but Boxer Jr is working from the bottom.
Boxer Jr trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Boxer Jr looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hores is one step ahead there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
