The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lieu swinging wildly here.
Ruehlen wants to clinch.
Ruehlen slips under a jab.
Ruehlen tries to move into range but Lieu moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A combination from Lieu does no damage.
Ruehlen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lieu lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Gage Ruehlen has been cut.
Ruehlen wants to clinch up but Lieu keeps it at a distance.
Ruehlen shoots for a double leg takedown but Lieu sprawls well. He's pushed Ruehlen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ruehlen fails with a takedown attempt.
Lieu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ruehlen.
Lieu avoids the head kick by Ruehlen.
Lieu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lieu wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gage Ruehlen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lieu misses with a wild combination.

Ruehlen tries for a takedown but Lieu sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lieu is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Ruehlen hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
