The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zentsov drops his hands momentarily and Luke takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Luke uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zentsov.

Luke shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Zentsov napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Luke stalling away here and it's allowed Zentsov to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Luke tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Zentsov paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Zentsov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Zentsov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Luke changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zentsov tries to avoid it but Luke manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zentsov to the ground. Zentsov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
