Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tran Do Di (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Sidorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adrian Sidorov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tran Do Di!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adrian Sidorov!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Di walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sidorov checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Di moves away from the strike by Sidorov.
Sidorov throws a nice looking combination but Di bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sidorov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sidorov misses the jab.
Di takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Di shoots for a takedown but Sidorov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Di bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Di shoots for a double leg takedown but Sidorov sprawls well. He's pushed Di's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Di.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tran Do Di. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sidorov scores with a jab to the jaw.

Di closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Di is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sidorov sees it coming and defends easily.

Sidorov looks like he's trying to stand up.

Di is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sidorov is just riding it out for now. Di eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Di wants to work for an arm triangle but Sidorov is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sidorov throws a hook to the side of Di's head but Di sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sidorov lands a glancing blow to the side of Di's head.
Sidorov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sidorov misses with a wild body shot.

Di moves out of range as Sidorov strikes.
Sidorov throws a hook but Di blocks it.

Di walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Di fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sidorov avoids it really well and circles away.

Sidorov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Di was well out of range. Poor timing from Sidorov.

Di is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sidorov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Di.

Sidorov is trying to stand back up but Di is controlling him
Di works his foot free and advances to mount.

Di working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Di is stalling here but it's allowed Sidorov to get half guard.

Di is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sidorov defends it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adrian Sidorov dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Horrible takedown by Di or perhaps it was just good defense by Sidorov which made him look bad.
Sidorov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sidorov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sidorov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Di shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Di looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Sidorov is squirming around, avoiding Di's attempts to control the action.
Sidorov is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Di is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sidorov can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Di jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sidorov manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sidorov connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

A looping hook to the body misses from Sidorov. Di does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sidorov throws a combination. Di tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Di looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sidorov is fending him off so far but Di persists. Nope, Sidorov circles away and we're back to standing.
Sidorov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Di moves away.

Adrian Sidorov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Di takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Di ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sidorov moves away.

Di changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sidorov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Di prevents Sidorov from escaping the position.
Sidorov prevents Di from improving position.
Sidorov is not content to let Di control the position.

Sidorov sneaks out the side door and pushes Di away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Sidorov throws a right hand that Di ducks under and follows up with a left that Di also avoids with ease.
Tran Do Di has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Di is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sidorov's half guard.

Adrian Sidorov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Sidorov winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
