Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Rozwalka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Sparrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparrow shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Rozwalka looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rozwalka.
Rozwalka shoots for a double leg takedown but Sparrow sprawls well. He's pushed Rozwalka's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sparrow tries to clinch but Rozwalka is having none of it.
Sparrow takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rozwalka slips a jab and a cross from Sparrow.
Rozwalka misses with a takedown attempt - Sparrow sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Jack Sparrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sparrow is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Rozwalka throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Rozwalka goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sparrow turns into him and now he's in Rozwalka's guard.

Sparrow gets to his feet - Rozwalka follows without any prompting.
Rozwalka sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sparrow throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Sparrow.
Sparrow throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Tomasz Rozwalka has been cut.
Sparrow misses with a two punch combination.
Sparrow misses with a leg kick
and Rozwalka counters with a big head kick but Sparrow shrugs it off.
Sparrow lands a head kick. Rozwalka smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Sparrow closes the distance and clinches.

Sparrow fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Sparrow looking to throw knees to the head but Rozwalka is blocking nicely.
Rozwalka turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rozwalka manages to end up in side control.
Sparrow tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Sparrow is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Rozwalka gets his way!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rozwalka misses with a punch to the head.

Rozwalka thows a strike but Sparrow uses the opportunity to reverse the position! Great move by Sparrow as he ends up in Rozwalka 's guard!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sparrow closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sparrow drags the fight down to the ground.

Rozwalka is looking to advance position but Sparrow has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Sparrow gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Sparrow stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sparrow wants it to stay on the feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sparrow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rozwalka swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Rozwalka throws a strike but Sparrow rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Sparrow gets to his feet. Rozwalka looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rozwalka crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sparrow - the referee stops the clock and Rozwalka gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sparrow. Rozwalka manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Sparrow is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rozwalka will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rozwalka stands up and beckons Sparrow to his feet.
Good leg kick by Sparrow there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Rozwalka counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rozwalka.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rozwalka in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Rozwalka drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sparrow dives on top into guard.

Rozwalka closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Rozwalka throws a strike but Sparrow avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Tomasz Rozwalka overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Rozwalka is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sparrow has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sparrow!

Rozwalka shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sparrow napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Rozwalka is trying to ground and pound but Sparrow uses the momentary lack of control by Rozwalka to regain half guard.

Rozwalka wants to control but Sparrow is keeping him busy.

Rozwalka has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rozwalka goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Sparrow is on top in guard.
Sparrow wanted to stand there but Rozwalka had control of the position.
