The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mongol doesn't seem bothered though.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mongol.
Nice takedown defense from Vasquez. No joy for Mongol on that attempt.
Mongol takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mongol shoots in and drives through. Vasquez sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wielki Mongol. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Vasquez has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Vasquez clinches up with Mongol and pushes him back against the cage.
Mongol goes for a takedown attempt but Vasquez pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Mongol looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Vasquez lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Mongol is looking to close the distance but Vasquez sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Mongol crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Mongol is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
