Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Hammont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asterix Njord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Njord has chosen Nicole - Solang mein Herz noch schlägt as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Asterix Njord was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Njord just misses with a punch to the body.
Njord avoids the head kick by Hammont.
Hammont misses with a jab, cross combination.
Njord swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hammont counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Hammont misses with a head kick.
Hammont lands an overhand right.
Njord takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Hammont ducks under a wild hook from Njord.
Asterix Njord seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammont listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Njord throws a looping overhand right but Hammont ducks down to avoid it.
Hammont steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Njord.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Njord avoids the head kick by Hammont.

Njord gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Njord pulls guard effortlessly.
Hammont is fighting to break Njord's control of his arms but Njord is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Njord is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hammont is aware though and is defending well.

Njord has his foot on Hammont's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hammont works his way back into a safe position though.
Hammont has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Njord is proving hard to escape from.
Njord has control of Hammont's left arm, preventing Hammont from doing any damage.

Njord is looking to sinch up a triangle. Hammont throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Njord's body to avoid the submission. Njord has instead reached around Hammont's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Njord arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
