Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Remus Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Bigs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jacobs might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nick Cave - The Mercy Seat. Bigs has chosen Danko Jones - Lovercall as his entrance music. Corey Bigs has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bigs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jacobs pinned against the cage. Jacobs gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

It looks like Remus Jacobs has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jacobs's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Bigs shoots for a double leg takedown but Jacobs sprawls well. He's pushed Bigs's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Remus Jacobs.
I think Bigs has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
